2026 - No. 6
KC Live! took a break from the World Cup watch parties to bring back Hot Country Nights. And the eye-catching Sammy opens this issue. She's also a working fashion model - kind of a pattern here, it seems - so she had no issue readily showing herself off with her knit green halter top and jeans.
And keep an eye out later in the issue for the very sunkissed Bella also ready for Hot Country Nights in a denim skirt and boots with her tube top.
The Crossroads Night Market also continues through its last two weekends. And it was far from as lively as when I found Veronica and Hannah for last issue. Though Hannah does make a reappearance. Her colorful top beckoned me to photograph her again after I bought a few things from her. The back cover features several of the prints I purchased.
And I also unexpectedly photographed another vendor, so keep an eye out for Savannah and her adorable floral shortalls.
The Night Market is also where I found this issue's cover feature. Emily was around the Crossroads Night Market on Fourth of July. The tie-side green miniskirt showing off her long legs pairs nicely with her black off-shoulder top.
I needed to go a little out of my way to find Kelsy. I was over in the area to check out some graffiti for future plans and saw her on that patio trying to clean it. A momentary break allowed me to get a few shots of her. My only regret being not having her take her gorgeous hair down from the start...
Mary makes a reappearance here as well, catching her outside where she works while on a momentary break. She was outside with one of her coworkers as well, but I couldn't talk the coworker into letting me photograph her. Oh well...
Lindsey rounds out the issue. She just got off a bus near 9th and Main while I was waiting for the streetcar. With denim shorts over what I think is a red swimsuit hugging her curves. We both needed the streetcar and cut it a bit close...
