Kelsy

Sometimes it pays to go a little out of your way.

I normally don't go West of Broadway. But with a couple plans in the works for shoots around graffiti, I decided to check out what was under the I-35/17th Street overpass.

And that's when I caught a glimpse of Kelsy on the back patio working to clean it. Exploring the area around the building allowed me to check her out a bit more. So when she paused her cleaning, I used that to talk her into taking a break.

"I'm a street photographer. I think you look really hot right now."

Gray top under loose peach or very-faded pink shortalls. Did she think she was hot wearing that? Likely not.

After getting her contact info, I asked her to take her hair down for a couple more photos. And why oh why?!? did I not have her do that from the start?

What's hilarious as well, at least from a man's perspective, my perspective, is the plethora of videos online of women more-than-confused when men say that simpler clothes, low-effort attire, the casual and mundane is leaps and bounds more attractive, hotter, sexier than anything that takes a lot of effort. That they get hit on more dressed down than being dressed up.

I've pointed that out in this magazine. I said Joan is fucking hot wearing just a black body suit and flip flops with unkempt hair. Lucy's hair was also a little unkempt, likely after a long day at work, completely not expecting to be photographed but still looking sexy in a her full-length dress with yellow flowers. Grace and Taylor in a simple t-shirt and jeans. Sydney in a t-shirt and sweat pants. The list goes on.

Never underestimate the sexiness of simple.

At the end before leaving an encounter, I typically make another compliment on her appearance. "And again, you look hot tonight, though you probably don't think you are in this."

And she just responded with "My patio cleaning clothes" as she put her hair back up.
