Kansas City Renaissance Festival - 2026 - Day 5

Warning: This post has a LOT of photos.

Next to last weekend. And the traffic situation was interesting. To the King's entrance, they had it so you could only turn into the parking lot if coming in from the South, meaning you were forced to go North to State Ave when leaving.

The Queen's entrance seemed similarly situated, only able to get into the lot if coming along State Ave from the West.

Anyway...

It was a little slow going initially simply because of how crowded the place was.

Circling around, keeping an eye out...

Over at the acrobatics performance area behind the Three Lion Stage, I found her.

And after wrapping up with her is when... Mary made an appearance.

She's so far the only person I've unintentionally run into and photographed four (4) times. Not just in a single year, but at all. She was also the first completely unintentional threepeat. Since with Macie, I knew where she worked so it was easy to cross paths with her again. And I also knew Veronica was going to be at the Crossroads Night Market, so it was easy making her the first to repeat three nights in a row.

But with Mary... it was a crapshoot whether I'd run into her again after the mini-shoot with Jalyssa. By pure luck, it happened twice more. But our last encounter was in July.

(And full disclosure, like with our previous encounter, I did send her something for this as well...)

Who says witches can't be adorable?

Okay more time to kill... So circling back down around to Absinthe & Alchemy near the Three Lions Stage. Some conversation with those manning the shop allowed me to talk this one into letting me photograph her. I've seen her around there before and, no, I have no idea why she was barefoot.

Two down, only one other left. Perhaps I'll get her tomorrow...

Taking a slightly longer route toward the front of the grounds, I saw her near one of the shops with a group. Didn't know if she was a vendor, but I was hoping to photograph her. But I also needed a short rest, so I went to lean up against that fence.

She walked out a moment later.
