Kansas City Renaissance Festival - 2026 - Day 2

Would've liked to have gone last weekend, but the weather had other plans. We still had rain this weekend, but not to nearly the same degree. Plenty of mud, plenty of humidity.

The mud, though, gave the festival ground a more accurate Middle Ages village ambiance.

And the weather system that came through also knocked out a lot of the heat. It was about 72°F when I got to the grounds around noon - according to the dashboard, at least. And only a few degrees warmer when I left. Far better than the near 100°F heat last time, which made it a lot easier to get my head into photographing people.
