2026 - No. 8

The hot weather meant it was more sane for me to be inside than outside. And that's where Union Station has been beneficial. And it's where we start this issue with Eryn, who was coming up the escalator behind me.

And along with Union Station is The Link and Crown Center. And that's where I found Taylor in a fascinating red dress. Showing her leg was her choice.

But I am also insane enough to be out in the insane heat... Thankfully I'm not the only one. Full afternoon sun... triple-digit daytime high temperature... that qualifies as fucking hot. But so does Vanesa in workout shorts that really emphasize her... curves. Though in hindsight, I think I should have tried to...

Nevermind.

And the heat persisted for a while, too. Seemingly with no relief in sight. As shown with Liv sweating through her top...

That heat, though, means you do need to stay hydrated. And Frida was prepared with a decent sized bottle. I saw her through one of the Union Station windows after I just walked in, so... obviously I was going to backtrack and see if I could catch her.

Back inside Union Station is Myra sitting in a spot that beckoned me to photograph her...

April is this issue's cover feature with her AC/DC halter top that she upcycled from a t-shirt. She definitely stood out while walking along Grand. She had a friend with her too, but she didn't want to be photographed.

And Amelia stood out as well walking in the Crossroads in an over-sized pink t-shirt and gorgeous long hair.

Rounding out the issue is another repeat. I didn't recognize Rachel at first. And I think I prefer her in the casual clothes to the black dress she was wearing last time. And in quick succession is Ava. As in immediately after Rachel, to conclude the issue.

The back cover is also unique here. The water main burst right in front of the Church of Scientology, turning the nearby roads into rivers. And a group of women decided to... go straight through it rather than going around it. This is the first time I've included people on the back, and it makes for a perfect close to this issue.
