19th and Grand

Grand and McGee South of 18th were turned into rivers courtesy of a water main bust right in front of the Church of Scientology that also flooded the building's basement. Rather than going around the blocks to get to their destination - either down to 20th or up to 17th - this group of women decided to go... through the water.

Sure, I was there, too, otherwise I wouldn't have these photos. But I was also photographing the scene, so had reason to be there.
