Very hot temperatures moved into Kansas City, sending the daytime high over 100°F for the better part of a week. Normally I wouldn't have tried anything for a photo shoot, probably would've even eschewed entirely the idea of finding a random encounter. But the above idea hit me, so I sent it off to Tori to see if she'd be open.
What can I say? Sometimes it's fun to go a little nuts and do a bikini shoot on a 100°F day... And this wouldn't have happened if I didn't drop the idea in front of her.
Except unfortunately it didn't happen that morning. Something about the weather shift made Tori call out sick on it. So it got pushed to the next weekend. Which was better since the daytime high was not over 100°F. So everyone was going to be a lot more comfortable.
But it also meant two photoshoots in one weekend. I haven't done two photoshoots within a couple days of each other since Angie's graduation shoots.
We started out at the Reservation Hall to help ease her into the shoot. Not that she really needed much help on that.

Then we went north to the One-Way Road. I wanted her along the lakeshore, but this cliff face was the next best thing. Two boaters were out on the water behind her, which gives the third image a bit of... a story. We joked as we were moving on about what they were going to tell their wives when they got home. I nearly died laughing after taking the shot.

Next was the dam. You can't really do a bikini shoot at Wyandotte County Lake without going to the dam. Starting her out in her tank and shorts...

... before walking down the rocks to the lakeshore so I could photograph her while she took off her tank and shorts and we could finish out the shoot.
