
This is why you don't drive away from a sunset till the sun has completely set.
Alongside me on the WyCo Lake dam, a woman set in her SUV watching the sunset as I was. The clouds foretold a disappointing sunset, so she drove off.
I looked at the clouds to the north and northwest. Specifically how they'd cleared the horizon. And I decided to wait, hoping they'd clear the horizon to the southwest as well where the sun was setting.
And I didn't need to wait long.
I took this about... not 10 minutes after she drove off.
Again this is why you don't drive away from a sunset till the sun has completely set. You never know what you'll end up missing.
