Apparently there is an escape artist among the goats... or probably more than one. But given how often I've seen a goat slipping their snout through the electric fence, it was pretty obvious that it wasn't being properly electrified. And some have told me they've touched the fence and not felt anything. So either the clips that were supposed to electrify the fence weren't doing their job, or whoever set it up didn't know what they were doing.

The power supply for it has a small solar panel attached, so was that how it was being powered instead of from the power grid or battery inverter? If so, of course it never did it's job.

Anyway... since we were standing around talking about the goat that got out, and then saw the gap under the electric fence that made that possible when it got back in, I took the chance to request some shots with her.
