Saturday night. Memorial Day weekend.

She was sitting at the giant table on 18th and Walnut. I sat at the end to have a bit of a rest. Also tried to figure out what a family was doing with the rental scooters, since two of them just kept whizzing by while the rest tried to figured things out.

She's also a photographer. Used to do weddings but wants to get into street photography. She perked up when I said that I'm a street photographer.

And quick posing tip: looking back over your shoulder while tucking in your chin instantly makes you more adorable and attractive. I've been directing this pose where I have the chance for that reason. It conveys a sense of timidity but also interest in the person you're noticing.

And if you're wearing a skirt, shorts, etc., don't forget about poses that show off your legs. In a bid to be quick with encounters, I typically don't direct someone into that kind of pose unless they're already situated for it. But here, Paola moved to that pose herself, showing off her incredible legs.
