Kansas City Renaissance Festival - 2026 - Day 4

Today wasn't as fruitful as I would've liked, but I'm not worried. I bought the season pass to spread things out. And today was very crowded, which made it difficult to not just find people to photograph, but also find... anything, including water, without waiting in long lines.

In all seriousness, I've never understood the appeal of the turkey legs... I recall walking by one person who was saying to their friend that waiting in line for one was "worth it"... Okay...

In the main courtyard off the King's Gate is the fountain and plenty of benches as well. And in the past I've gone exclusively for people in costume, but this time I decided to include someone in plain clothes as well.

At the bottom of a hill coming off the King's Gate is a bridge over the creek with plenty of benches for sitting and relaxing. And on one of the benches I was able to photograph this exquisite woman.

And toward the end of the afternoon, I found her standing near the Three Lions Stage that features The Jolly Rogers and Bawdily Harm.
