The common refrain is constraints on your creativity lead to better creativity. Search YouTube for "photography constraints" (without quotes) and you'll find several talking about this.

But the constraints many refer to are things that already describe street photography. Things like... using only one particular lens - traveling light is the name of the game. Staying to one area - or... how to avoid missing subjects. Being out only during a specific time of day.

Tonight's constraint was time. Days are already getting shorter by the... umm... day. But tonight was less about the time till sunset and more about what was coming about an hour before sunset...

Half an hour is not a lot of time to work with.

But I also need only just two minutes out of that half hour.
