Not the quickest turnaround on a repeat. That distinction still belongs to Katie from... 2022. Where I photographed her two days apart - April 9th and 11th. Absent a planned photoshoot, typically when repeats happen, they're months apart. As a more recent example, it'd been over 18 months since initially meeting Cristel before our paths crossed again two nights ago.
So to cross paths with Elsy three (3) days after our first meeting is an unusually quick turnaround. Definitely not unwelcome, though. Though it was a bit coincidental that I posted one of the shots from the other night to Instagram just this morning. Perhaps she saw it and wanted us to cross paths again.
On which she had reason given what she told me tonight. The night we met, she was feeling a little down. Then I come along and say she looks adorable and I want to take a couple shots of her. And that lifted her spirits and boosted her mood.
Which I always love hearing when that happens, hearing when someone's spirits get lifted or their mood or self esteem gets a boost when I photograph them. Because it's one thing when friends, family, or a spouse or significant other comfort you or tell you that you look great.
But it inarguably hits different when a complete stranger isn't just telling you, but showing you that you're hot.
And with Elsy, that she was sitting on raised spirits allowed me tonight to better show off that she's hot. Even more so after she let her hair down. Almost hard to believe this is the same woman. Wish I could've had more time with her tonight, but the light was waning. Hopefully our paths cross again soon.
