When I got to Antioch Park, I accidentally left my phone in my car. No worries, I thought, as I knew I'd be circling back around eventually, so I'd wait till then to get it. Yeah... that changed in a hurry when I first saw Elsy sitting under the Shelter #4, the same shelter under which I saw Juli.
I approached her only to discover she's... not fluent in English.
So now I had a small dilemma on my hands. Which brought up another question: how committed are you willing to be to get a street portrait? Obviously there are lines to not cross, and I'm always mindful of that. But here it meant circling back to my car much sooner than expected so I can get my phone and pull up Google Translate:
"Sorry to bother you again. You look adorable and I want to take a couple shots of you. Do you mind?"
