Unseasonably warm weather at the lake with the high temperature topping out in the 70s in the afternoon. Very sunny as well such that I got scorched, and I was seeing turtles and other hibernating wildlife taking advantage.
And all the parks were busy as well, and I think Wyandotte County chose to open the lake a weekend early for fishing as well - it wasn't supposed to open for that till March 2. I even saw someone sunbathing. In February.
Though the unseasonably warm weather has me worried for what the weather will look like in March. Will it be unseasonably warm as well, or will it nosedive back down below freezing?
