Concert sisters

recordBar is one of the main stops in Kansas City if you're looking for music by lesser-known artists. Earlier this year, for example, I caught up with Ana from a Mexican band called Descartes A Kant while she was having a smoke outside.

And tonight they were hosting Toni Romiti. And the line waiting for her gave the impression she's somewhat well known in and around Kansas City. Since it started at recordBar and extended South along Grand, wrapping the block at 16th.

I caught Sam and Patience when they crossed Grand along Truman South Dr, also here for the concert. From Iowa. (My wife and I drove from Kansas City to Papillion, NE, to see Lindsey Stirling in concert back in 2013, so I'm not going to judge...)
