Chandra

Chandra

Sunset approached with a waxing moon already visible overhead. Some clouds were overhead, but the color of the sun on the horizon was telling me the sunset wasn't going to be what I wanted.

As I walked by Chandra and her friend to get to the other end of the dam, they noticed me. They were trying to take shots of each other with their cell phones, like several others I've encountered at the lake. So even though the sunset wasn't to my liking, I didn't walk away that night empty-handed.

When deciding what to do, I said that initially I'd take shots of them separately. And Chandra was... volunteered by her friend to go first. And despite them not having any posing experience, what I've discovered with a lot of young women is... she just needs some starting direction and, often, she'll take it from there.
