Journaling is a great way to get out your thoughts. And using a physical journal or notebook (a la "notebooking") is arguably better than typing it out into a blog post, word processor, or what have you. And it's very beneficial for mental health.
I used to do that at my previous job. Using the Mead notebooks they provided in the supply cabinets. I'd take about an hour away from my desk, separate from my lunch, and just find a place in the building where I could sit and write out my thoughts - typically in the on-premises cafeteria. Perhaps it's something I need to consider taking up again.
The specific notebook Carly is using can be found at Amazon. (Note: this is an affiliate link for which I may receive a commission if you make a purchase.) And there is a wide variety of notebooks available all over Amazon, at bookstores, and the like. And there's also the well-known Moleskine.
