Brooklyn

The Big XII Tournament is at the T-Mobile Center this year. KC Live! is closed off for giant watch parties going on. And Grand as well is closed off, but still publicly accessible, with outdoor activities between 13th and 14th.

Tonight is the semifinals, with Iowa State and the University of Kansas making a showing. (Kansas State knocked out in the first round against Brigham Young.) I noticed plenty of people in ISU merch flocking toward the area. Not nearly as many people in KU merch, but the ISU game was going first. So any I did see were probably looking for someplace to eat nearby.

It was a bit quieter around the back along Oak, adjacent to the government district. There was a woman in an SUV trying to figure out parking, I guess, sitting outside the Magenta assigned-parking lot looking at her phone trying to figure out where to go before asking the lot attendant.

And Brooklyn was out there as well.
