Like the case with Kayla's bulldog, this pup was being protective. No worries.
I prepared for that by grabbing my 70-200mm lens. I saw her playing fetch with the pup in the open field right off Shelter 8 and the Beach Shelter near the library and handicapped fishing dock. My initial intent was going to be to get shots of her and the dog as the pup was running around.
No such luck. When I got parked, she was walking with the dog toward the handicapped dock. So I got the shots you see here.
