At the bus stop
When I first started actively perusing downtown for people to photograph, the bus stops tended to make me nervous. And in some ways, they still do. Downtown at times still makes me a little nervous. And the screams of sirens between the buildings seemingly every night definitely doesn't help.
But that anxiety is a good thing. It keeps me on guard, focusing entirely on situational awareness.
Such as becoming aware of these two at the bus stop a block North of the T-Mobile Center on 12th. I've walked by here plenty of times. Enough that I don't really feel all that anxious walking by on most occasions.
And when I saw a redhead in the distance, I decided to come check things out. Initially walking by just to gauge the situation, stopping at the corner beyond S-K Security where turning South would lead to the dispensary. One was sitting while the other was standing. Nothing out of the ordinary when walking by. No reason to think a problem existed.
But also no ready sign telling me how long I had till their bus would come. So like with Fiona, I had to just go for it. Starting with the one who was sitting down.

Then going for the redhead. Since she was standing, I decided to have her just lean up against something. Not sure how brief the time must be, so I kept it simple.
