... at face value - 2024

No. 1

Tenley is the cover feature for this issue. Crossed paths with her at Antioch Park and it turned into a mini photoshoot.

Also featured is Valerie. First met her in May 2023 wearing hot pink and sunglasses. She was wearing all black this time, but still hot!

And speaking of repeats, Meranda is also featured. First met her at the Merriam Marketplace in Sept 2023. Didn't expect to run into her at Campbell Park in Merriam.

Jade is a model and exotic dancer who was supposed to have a photo shoot that evening, but a mistake on the photographer's part led to that being cut short and our paths crossed instead.

And there's also Braden and his big mouth... bass.

No. 2

Meranda is the cover feature, with that shot being from skateboarding at Rosedale Park.

Also featured is her shoot from the Crossroads Arts District. She had an entry in the Parade of Hearts and wanted some photos for her portfolio. And then I had some fun with her as we walked back to her car, putting her through a mini-shoot.

Also a multiple feature this time is Elizabeth. First managed to catch her at a shelter at Antioch Park, then found her laying on one of the picnic tables.

And there's also Miraldy's gorgeous, glowing smile that was just that morning freed from the confines of braces...

Plenty of artists and creators included this time around with *clickable* QR codes to their respective profiles.

No. 3

Anna is the cover feature for this issue. After having Meranda's shoot at the Crossroads, I knew I wanted Anna's next shoot to be there as well.

Back at Antioch Park, Alexa and her tennis moves are featured as well. Again, I have zero envy for sports photographers, but, thanks to Alexa, a bit more understanding for how they do their craft.

You'll also find the spiritual, new-age, and gorgeous Shea.

And toward the end of the issue you'll see a few shots from mine and my wife's first visit to the Renaissance Festival.

No. 4

The cover feature was a very difficult choice this time... but ultimately decided to go with Shea this time around. She's hot. She's confident. And it was also her birthday that night. Plus she was featured in the previous issue. Hopefully we'll be crossing paths again in 2025.

There were a surprising number of mini-shoots this time around as well. First up is Alaxandra. Finding her at the lake was a very pleasant surprise. And she was a model as well at one point.

Back around to Antioch Park, Paula was trying to set up her cell phone - in a rather awkward fashion. So I offered to take shots of her instead.

Hope at least had someone with her to take shots of her. Her "Umm... YES!!" when I offered the mini-shoot is still priceless.

And let's not forget about Clarissa and her e-board at Antioch Park.

A couple walks through the City Market are included as well, such as the two friends near the ice cream parlor - one visiting from the Pacific Northwest.

And my wife and I went back to the Renaissance Festival for the last day of the season. Keep an eye out for the adorable woman in the orange skirt and tunic.

No. 5

Another very difficult choice for the cover feature, but I ultimately settled on Carly, the transplant from Texas exploring WyCo Lake when I crossed paths with her - and the second Carly to grace the cover.

I was back at the City Market for the flea market's last weekend. You'll find the adorable Emily showing off her Chiefs pride, Angela and her purple jersey with sweats, and Lesli with the off-shoulder sweater. And speaking of off-shoulder, there's my last encounter with the woman at the info desk. (I never asked for her name...)

You'll also find Crystal with her friend Hailey. Crystal in the sexy green one-piece dress showing off her great legs with some... curious features that I debated on editing out, but ultimately decided against. And Hailey looking hot as well, with the sun poking out from behind some clouds and forcing her hand - literally - and letting me catch a very lucky shot. I've said time and again that many of my best shots are the unplanned ones.

And in November, the City Market hosted the Navy band from the Great Lakes. Along with getting a couple shots of them, I managed to also catch their Chief and Commanding Officer. I normally don't photograph men, but I'm absolutely making an exception for one in a military dress uniform...

Only one mini shoot this time. I encountered Jazz earlier in the year when she was reading a romance novel at Antioch Park, and caught her recently trying to set up for cell phone shots. And speaking of Antioch Park, there's Willa giving off the same kind of... connecting with nature feel I recall when I first met Shea.
