Anna's reshoot

Anna's reshoot

The only way to grow in your craft is to admit when you screwed up.

A few days before Christmas, I tried a Christmas light shoot with Anna. It was frigid. The temperature was just above freezing, but the wind chill put it very much below. She really wasn't comfortable, meaning we didn't really have a good chance to show off her and the dress.

Thankfully Lenexa kept their lights up unusually long. They're still up as I write this and won't be taken down till January 16. They usually come down the first weekend or Monday after New Year's. So after the arctic clipper came through and I noticed the temperature trends, I reached out about scheduling a reshoot.

The results... speak for themselves, in my opinion.

Never be afraid to admit your mistakes. Own up to it and swallow the cost to make it right.
