The heat wave over the last week has made things... interesting. At least tonight there was a bit of a wind that helped cool things off when in the shade. But it was still hot.

So not really much of a surprise that I didn't find someone to photograph until the sun was on the horizon. And like with Mehri last night, I didn't find Amy until I'd already decided I was going to head home. So... going back to my car could wait a little longer.

Sometimes it's when you've decided you're done photographing that you'll find something or someone to photograph. Hence the common mantra from photographers: always have your camera ready and always keep your eyes peeled.
