Addie
Tonight I beelined to Union Station after getting parked in the Crossroads. Rain was still in the area, so outdoor street photography wasn't an option initially. And getting to Union Station, I realized that KC Fashion Week was still going on.
Which... honestly, I have considered signing up as an "Official Photographer" for that in the past, but... runway fashion photography really isn't for me. I very much prefer the impromptu fashion discoveries I make around Kansas City. The casual fashion, in particular. Which is a stark contrast to what's typically presented on fashion runways.
The language I've used with many of my posts, along with how I've posed many of them, likely gives the impression that I'm a street photographer just as much for the fashion as the incredible women I've met along the way.
And that trend continues here, making impromptu models out of several of the women in the lobby.
Starting with Addie. A simple yet incredible pink dress that reminds me of when I found Darian outside the Blue Cross building on 14th and Baltimore back in June. I first noticed her outside the Parisi Coffee cafe as I made my way to the stairs, needing to refresh my water at the bottle fill station on Level B.
Getting back up to the main floor, Addie was now in the guest line, but with a sizeable gap in front and behind her. Making for a good opportunity without having to pull her out of line.
And she's also a stylist: @beautybyaddie__
